Young Voices of Colorado – Artistic Director
Position Overview:
The Artistic Director (AD) leads YVC’s artistic vision, conducting two or more choirs while overseeing training programs, concerts, and singer development. The AD collaborates with the Assistant Artistic Director (AAD), artistic and administrative staff, the Board of Directors, parents, and the community. Ideally, a full-time role or part-time may be considered for those with extensive conducting schedules. The AD reports to the Board, while artistic staff reports to the AD.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct two or more choirs and shape YVC’s artistic direction.
• Oversee training, concerts, repertoire, and program growth.
• Supervise and develop artistic staff.
• Collaborate on the Sing A Mile High Choral Festival with the Founding Festival Director.
