Graded Honor Choir Audition Timeline
The dates published in this timeline are firm and non-negotiable for all Honor Choir candidates. All deadlines must be met in order to participate in the 2026 Graded Honor Choirs.
September 3: Audition Window Opens for All Honor Choirs ($25/Entry)
October 8: Audition Window Closes for Graded Honor Choirs
November 1: Singer Acceptance Notifications Sent to Graded Honor Choir Directors
November 2: Acceptance Notifications Sent to Individuals/Parents of Graded Honor Choirs Members
November 15: Deadline for Acknowledgement & Payment of Graded Honor Choir Fees ($225)
December 1: Deadline for the Digital Submission of Required Forms for All Honor Choirs
- January 2: Deadline to Submit Housing Reservations via the Conference Housing Portal

Audition Fees for the 2026 Honor Choirs
$25 Application Fee Per Student/Per Choir
Participation Fees for the 2026 Honor Choirs
Graded Honor Choir Participation Fee $225
HS Jazz Honor Choir Participation Fee $245
These fee cover event and admin fees, sheet music, lunch on
Thursday and Friday, and an t-shirt for each honor choir participant.
SWACDA is not responsible for booking or securing hotel accommodations, transportation to and from the conference, or any food for honor choir participants other than the meals outlined in the fees listed above.

The link to the group housing reservation portal will be sent to accepted Honor Choir members with their enrollment forms in November.
All singers and their designated chaperones are required to book their room with our Conference Hotel Partner for the duration of their honor choir commitments during the 2026 conference.
