2024 Audition Timeline
July 1: Graded Honor Choir Audition Recording Window Opens
September 4: Audition Window Opens via OPUS ($25 entry fee per student)
October 8: Audition Submission DEADLINE (no additional entries will be accepted after midnight)
Mid-October: Audition Judging and Ranking (3 judges per voice part)
November 1: Singer Notifications go out to Sponsoring Directors
November 15: Deadline for Singers to Accept Positions & Pay Participation Fees ($215 per student)
December 1: Deadline for the Submission of Required Forms
December 10-15: Distribution of Music Packets & Rehearsal Material to Sponsors
January 10: Deadline for Graded Honor Choir Hotel Reservations

2024 SWACDA Graded Honor Choir Rehearsal Timeline
This information is provided to help you/your students plan for travel to and from Colorado for this year’s conference. Specific schedules and information for each choir will be distributed with admission letters in November.
Wednesday, February 28
Travel Day - Please arrive in Denver, Colorado by 2:00 PM
Student/Chaperone Registration from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (Embassy Suites)
Dinner (On Your Own)
Student Rehearsals begin at 6:00 PM
Chaperone meetings will take place in the ballroom lobbies during these rehearsals. More details will be sent out with acceptance letters in November.
Thursday, February 29
Rehearsals begin at 8:30 AM
Lunch Break (Meal included in Participation Fee)
Rehearsals Resume at 1:00 PM
Release for Dinner (On Your Own) between 5:30-6:30 PM
Friday, March 1
Dress Rehearsal at Performance Venue from 8:30-11:00 AM
Rehearsals Resume at Embassy Suites Immediately After
Lunch Break (Meal included in Participation Fee)
Rehearsals Resume at 1:00 PM
Attend College Night Events after Rehearsal
Release for Dinner (On Your Own) between 5:00-6:00 PM
Saturday, March 2
Rehearsals begin at 8:30 AM
Lunch & Change on Your Own at 11:00 AM
Group assembly and move to Performance Venue at 12:00 PM
Finale Dress Rehearsal at 1:00 PM
Concerts begin at 2:30 PM
Students are released to Parents/Chaperones at 5:00 PM

Detailed reservation information will be sent out with Notification Letters on November 1.
Rooms for selected members and chaperones WILL NOT be available for booking until after this date. Please do not try to book rooms in advance.
The deadline for booking hotels for Graded Honor Choir Members is January 10.
