SWACDA Music in Worship Immersion
Conference - March 7, 2018

Lost in Wonder, Love, and Praise!

An all-day church music event held at Bishop Angie Smith Chapel on the campus of Oklahoma City University, sponsored by SWACDA. This is available for SWACDA members and non-members.

For the Wednesday morning Music in Worship Immersion Day.
A shuttle bus from the Cox Convention Center will leave at 8:30 am and will be going to the Bishop Angie Smith Chapel at Oklahoma City University.  
The shuttle bus will make periodic trips to transport people to OCU from the SWACDA main hotel, the Renaissance.
After the church service is over at 6:00 p.m. The shuttle service will make a run to the Civic Center for the concerts.

An all-day Music in Worship conference is packed with great speakers, great reading sessions of new and tried and true anthems, and an ecumenical worship service planned for the end of the day. The Music in Worship conference is FREE! A catered meal will be available on location for $10.

Terry York, D.M.A. - Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Christian Ministry and Church Music at Baylor University, Author, Composer of anthems and hymns, Guest lecturer

Joseph Martin - Director of Sacred Publications at Hal Leonard Corporation and Shawnee Press, Inc., Composer, Pianist, Conductor

Jeff Lippencott - Film Score and Television Series Composer, Composer of hymns: Saints of Zion

Geoffrey Moore - President, The Hymn Society, Ministry Consultant on Congregational Singing and Worship, PhD Candidate at Perkins School of Theology

Come and enjoy this fabulous day of Music in Worship. The conference will begin at 9:00 a.m. with an Ecumenical Service starting at 5:00 p.m.
